Our October 10th meeting had Forrest Breyfogle
III speaking on “Beyond Six Sigma/Lean Methods to Ensure your Organization’s
Health”. Mr. Breyfogle is the Founder
& President of Smarter Solutions, Inc. located here in Austin and the
author of several books related to Six Sigma methods. Over 80 people were in attendance for this meeting who heard a
very interesting talk, which raised a different prospective on how to apply
certain quality tools in meeting the customer’s requirements and reducing
costs.
The October meeting was also a joint meeting with the
local Austin Chapter of the American
Production and Inventory Control Society, APICS.
