Submission Guidelienes for Web Postings

The ASQ Austin web site is intended to provide very current information to our memebership and interested persons.  Web site submissions on current events, activities, job postings, etc. are welcome.  Since there is a high volume of submissions and postings, the internet liaison chairpersons require that you follow the submission guidelines given below.

  • Use MS Word for all submissions.

  • Photos may be submitted as separate files.  Photo files should be no more than 500K in size and preferably no more than 100K.  Photos should be submitted in standard photo formats such as JPEG, GIF, TIFF, or other standard format.  JPEG is preferred.

  • All submissions should use an Arial 10 pt font

  • MS Word article should look exactly the way you want it to look on the web.  Place paragraph breaks where you want them to appear on the web, etc.  The internet liaisons will not do re-formatting.

  • Please see web pages on the www.asqaustin.org web site for examples of formatting.  The general format of submissions must closely match the format of the asqaustin web site.

  • Please keep submissions as brief, i.e. one or two paragraphs.  If you need to convey more information than the one or two paragraphs allow, please include a web link to another site that has the detailed information

Submissions should be sent directly to the Internet Liaisons listed on the Officers Page of this site.  Whether an article, event, etc. is posted or not is at the discretion of the internet liaisons.
